Install from your device's official store. Do not use APK sites or mirror links that claim to be Smarters with extra features. The official app is free or low-cost on all platforms.

Xtream Codes login.

Open Smarters Pro and tap Add User
On the login screen, tap Add User (or the + icon). Choose Xtream Codes Login as the login method.

Enter your Full Name
This is just a label inside the app. Use your provider name or your own name. It does not affect login.

Enter the server URL with port
Example: http://yourprovider.com:8080 (include the port). Without it, authentication will fail. Copy-paste from your provider dashboard to avoid typos.

Enter username and password
Case-sensitive. Copy-paste from your provider panel or the welcome email. Tap Add User when done.

Channels load
Smarters connects to the Xtream API and downloads your channel list and categories. First load may take 30-90 seconds.

M3U login.

Add User → M3U URL
From the Add User screen, choose M3U URL instead of Xtream Codes.

Paste the full M3U URL
Your provider gives you a URL that starts with http:// or https:// and usually ends with .m3u or .m3u8. Paste it exactly.

Optionally add an EPG URL
On the same screen or in settings after, add your XMLTV EPG URL. This populates the program guide.
M3U is a static file. If your provider updates their channel list, you may need to re-paste the URL or tap refresh. Xtream Codes is dynamic: the server always sends the current list on login. Xtream is generally preferred for large channel lists.

EPG setup.
If you used Xtream Codes login, Smarters may load EPG automatically from the server API. Check by opening the Guide tab. If it is empty, go to Settings → EPG URL and add it manually.
If you used M3U login, EPG must be added manually. Go to Settings → User (select your playlist) → EPG URL. Paste your provider's EPG URL and save. The guide populates in a few minutes.

Common errors.

Settings → Player → change audio output to software decoding. Try toggling hardware acceleration.

EPG URL not set or guide not refreshed
Fix
Settings → EPG → add URL. Force refresh. Wait 2-5 minutes.

What is the difference between IPTV Smarters and IPTV Smarters Pro?
IPTV Smarters Pro is the current maintained version. The original IPTV Smarters has not been updated in some time. Always install the Pro version. Both support Xtream Codes and M3U.
I get 'authentication error' when logging in. What is wrong?
Check the server URL includes the port (e.g. http://yourserver.com:8080, not just yourserver.com). Username and password are case-sensitive. Copy-paste from your provider dashboard instead of typing. If it still fails, your provider subscription may be inactive.
Can I add multiple providers to IPTV Smarters Pro?
Yes. Smarters supports multiple user profiles. Each profile can have a different Xtream or M3U login. You switch between them in the top menu.
Why is the catch-up feature not working?
Catch-up (replay) requires your provider to support it and for the specific channels to have it enabled. Not all channels on any provider have catch-up. Check with your provider which channels support it.
