Annual plans carry a thirty-day goodwill refund window from the start of the paid period. Monthly plans are not refundable under our goodwill policy, but you may cancel at any time and keep watching until the end of the paid period.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal that is separate from and independent of our goodwill policy. Nothing in this document affects your statutory rights.
If you cancel an annual subscription within thirty days of the start of the paid period, we refund the full amount. After the thirty-day window, the annual fee is non-refundable and the subscription runs to the end of the paid year.
Refunds under this goodwill policy are returned to the original payment method within ten business days of approval.
Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable under our goodwill policy. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month and prevents the next charge.
We do not issue partial goodwill refunds for unused days within a paid month.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days of the start of your subscription without giving any reason. This is a legal right that we cannot reduce or remove. It is separate from, and independent of, the thirty-day goodwill refund window described above.
Because Gloam is a digital service delivered online, we ask for your express consent to begin delivery immediately when you subscribe, and we ask you to acknowledge that by doing so you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery has begun. If you do not give that consent, we will wait until the fourteen-day cancellation period ends before activating your subscription.
If you have given consent and delivery has begun, your statutory right of withdrawal is lost. You may still use the thirty-day goodwill refund window for annual plans, or cancel a monthly plan before the next billing date.
If you have not given consent, or if we cannot prove that you acknowledged the loss of your withdrawal right, you bear no cost for the digital content supplied during the cancellation period.
To exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, write to billing@gloam.tv from the email address on the account within fourteen days of subscribing.
Where the service is unavailable for a continuous period of more than twenty-four hours due to a fault on our side, we will, on request, credit the affected period against your next renewal or issue a pro-rata refund for the downtime.
This does not apply to outages caused by your internet connection, your device, the upstream broadcaster, or events outside our reasonable control.
Email billing@gloam.tv from the email address on the account, with the word Refund in the subject line and the date of the charge you are querying. We acknowledge within two business days and resolve within ten.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. We do not refund to a different method.
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting billing@gloam.tv may result in the account being suspended while the dispute is resolved, and a permanent mark where the chargeback is found to be without merit.
This refund policy is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, the EU Digital Content Directive 2019/770, and the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Substantive changes are published here, dated, and announced by email to active subscribers thirty days before they take effect. Any change that reduces refund rights does not apply to subscriptions already paid for at the time the change takes effect.
